Stop claiming to be YSR's heir: Gone to Botsa

Former RTC chairman and staunch YS Jaganmohan Reddy supporter Gone Prakash Rao on Saturday demanded that Minister for Transport Botsa Satyanarayana withdraw his remarks against the former Kadapa MP and also stop from claiming that he was the political heir of the former chief minister.

Talking to media persons at the media point in Assembly premises, Mr Prakash Rao said that Mr Satyanarayana had claimed that he was the true political heir of former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and had also made allegations against Mr Jaganmohan Reddy that he was damaging YSR’s image by telecasting adverse programmes.

Taking a critical view of Mr Satyanarayana’s charge, Mr Prakash Rao warned the Minister that if he continued with the vilification campaign against Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, people will stop believing him and start leaving the Congress party in support of the former Kadapa MP.

Mr Prakash Rao added that very soon, if this trend continues, the Congress will lose its base in Andhra Pradesh.

He added that the next elections to the civic bodies posts will witness political tussle between the Jagan’s party and the TRS in Telangana and the TDP pitted against Jagan’s party in Seemandhra regions.
