Pranab, Moily, Patel bound for Hyderabad

Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukerjee, Party In-Charge for Andhra Pradesh Affairs and Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s Political Advisor Ahmed Patel will attend the crucial CLP meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss the fallout of Chief Minister Rosaiah’s resignation.

The representatives from the High Command are expected to land at Begumpet Airport in the city at around 4:30 PM from where they will proceed towards Lake View Guest House. They are expected to discuss the political situation with senior party leaders of the state.

A heavy contingent of police personnel has already been put in place at the Guest House. The party National leaders are expected to be driven to the party head office, Gandhi Bhavan later where they will hold discussions with Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas.

According to sources, Assembly Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy’s name is in the forefront of Mr Rosaiah’s successor.
