Speaking to media persons at separate press briefings at the Secretariat, the Ministers said that Mr Naidu had deputed his lieutenant Kodela Sivaprasada Rao to speak in his behalf.

Kodela had no locus standi to speak anything on behalf of Mr Naidu as he was himself involved in a bomb blast case in his house and got absolved with the help of the then NDA government, the Ministers said.

They added that Mr Naidu was very much indulging in the mudslinging exercise and this was unbecoming of status. They added that Mr Naidu himself has lowered his status by airing his views in a filthy manner.

At a time when the government was serious about extending helping hand to the flood victims, Mr Naidu resorted to politicise the relief operations, they criticised.

The Ministers stated that Mr Naidu’s his real colours had come to the fore, and added that even now the TDP chief should be prepared to face the media for a debate and accept for judicial enquiry on his assets.

They emphasised that Mr Naidu’s deputy Kodela had no authority to speak for his leader on this subject.
