Singapore Telugus condole the death of YSR

Singapore, Sept 7 :

 The Singapore Telugu Association  paid   glowing  tributes to  Dr  Y S Rajasekhara Reddy , the  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister  who  died in a chopper crash on Wednesday.   In a condolence meeting held at Andhra  Curry Restaurant in Singapore on Sunday night,  the  Singapore  Telugus turned out in large  numbers and  lauded  the  development  works  he undertook to  develop Andhra Pradesh.

Praising him as the Messiah of the  poor and as a leader of the masses  they said  his sudden demise was not only  a loss  for Andhra Pradesh  but  for the entire world.

The development  programs and projects  he had taken up  during his tenure  should  be  accomplished  and  that is the only way of  paying homage  to him, they averred.

Various  religious  groups among the  Singapore  Telugus offered  prayers  for  the  departed  leader  and the others who were killed along with him in the chopper crash.
