She accused party leadership for its double standards in allotting party tickets in the recent assembly elections. Roja alleged that a section of party leaders were responsible for her defeat in the 2004 and 2009 assembly elections.
Though it is learnt that she is going to resign to TDP and all set to join Congress party, the sudden demise of chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy raised doubts about her leaving TDP. But, putting all the speculations aside she has resigned to the party.

&nbsp;Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof K C Reddy has said that the government would conduct the second phase of web counseling for engineering aspirants only after solving the lapses in the admission process of counseling.
Talking to media people here on Monday, he said that there is no need to scrap the web counseling process demanded by some engineering aspirants.
He said the government would take steps to rectify mistakes in the allotment of seats and justice would be done for merit students in the engineering admission process. He also ruled out alleged irregularities in the allotment of colleges and said the admissions are made in transparent manner based on merit.

Geetu Mohan Das tried to attract viewers with brother sister relationship, father -son sentiment and many romantic elements but everything looks disjointed and ended up testing the patience of all and irritating them.Even when people wait patiently praying for the end, they will get another shock in the pre climax and climax with psychological elements. The story has many threads but none of them are answered in a convincing manner and few of them despite the lengthy runtime left unanswered and the screenplay turned ridiculous to the core. The direction turned out to be a huge disappointment. The script turned out to be lackluster. Dialogues are just ok and dubbing made the matters worse.Geetu Mohan Das completely failed to do justice to the stardom of Yash and his character turned listless and aimless on the screen. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. Artists ReviewAnush Thorat performed well as an innocent boy whose life changes completely following the turn of events. He showed good expressions and emotions and endeared to all with his performance. In order to connect chords with both these divergent sections, he loaded the first half with youthful elements and the second half with emotional elements trying to drive home the message.Though there are many bold scenes and dialogues in the first half, it connects chords with the youngsters as it was shown in an entertaining manner loaded with humorous elements. The interval block sets the stage for the second half. While the screenplay is racy and narration is quite fast paced in the first half, the second half narration slides down with monotonous elements. The preachy dialogues and repetitive scenes put off viewers. Finally the movie ends in a predictable manner.The music of Charan Arjun is good. The title song already became a chartbuster and it is choreographed in a good way on the screen. His background music is in sync with the story. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing is quite good in the first half. The pace in the second half dips due to repetitive scenes and intense emotions. He could have done away with the repetitive scenes. Anush Thorat and Vasavi Ganeshan came up with spirited performances and director Bikshu Yadav starts in an entertaining way with youthful elements connecting chords with genex viewers ending the first half quite on a high note. When everyone expected a more entertaining second half, he turned preachy with monotonous elements and this slowed the pace of the narration and impacted the final output. The overdoing of bold scenes involving minors with just a statutory warning that it is a crime under POCSO act will put off right thinking people. Many will be under the impression that the makers included these scenes to attract genex viewers and then wash off their hands with a message in the climax. A little finetuning of the script, and attention to the second half would have added more power to the final output. He tried to thrill viewers with a horror thriller with spiritual elements. The entire first half is narrated in an interesting manner maintaining the suspense and unraveling the twists in an apt manner. The first half narration is decent and the screenplay is intact and racy keeping the interest levels of the viewers quite high setting the tone for the second half.However, MS.Raju loses plot in the second half with convenient screenplay. Instead of the protagonist unraveling the mystery of Agadha, other characters reveal everything to her, leaving nothing for her to do, thus diluting the over all impact. To the top of it, repetitive scenes impacted the flow of the narration. However, he generates interest in the runup to the climax before ending it in a decent manner.Nani Chamidisetty with his cinematography created the desired impact. He showed the scenes in an impactful manner using the color combinations and camera angles perfectly. The VFX and Graphics are of good quality. They could have however taken more care regarding the graphics. Art department could have done a better job as artificiality crept in the sets. The music of &nbsp;Rakesh Venkatapuram is good. He made a powerful impact with his background score elevating the scenes to the next level. Editing of Junaid Siddique is good in the first half but could have been far better in the second half. He touched only at the top of them and one gets a feeling that the job was only half done. While the first half established the characters of various people, second half tried to show them when they reach their peaks. There are few interesting scenes but with better screenplay, things would have become more interesting.The cinematography of Nagesh Banell is good. He showed the scenes in a visually appealing manner. The music of Tejaswi Poornachandra is good. The background score of Saumit Deshmukh is good and added value to the narration. Dialogues are impactful. Editing of Shravan Katikaneni is ok but could have been far better. Director KK seems to have drawn inspiration from Maniratnam's classic Thalapathi and the characters more or less resembled the same. A little finetuning of the script, even powerful screenplay and gripping narration exploring the three characters divining deep into them would have turned the output into a more powerful and impactful one. Considering all these aspects Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for KJQ.

Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. He showed the period look in the story in a appealing and relatable manner. Anirudh Ravichander's tunes for the songs are just ok. The songs had a montage touch. But he elevated the scenes with his unique and terrific background score. He showed variety in the background music. He showed his creativity by scoring background in a poetic manner. Prasanna. GK's editing is quite fine but at times there are few repetitive elements. After the introduction of protagonist in a typical mass way &nbsp;he shows the heroine. The narration treads in a familiar trope and screenplay assumes a routine flavor. To the top of it, the over usage of Korean language puts off the viewers. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The story ends in a funny way with the lead to the sequel.Thaman's music offered nothing new. The songs are few and didn't make much impact. Thaman's background music followed the same template. He however with the background music elevated the scenes. Manojh Reddy with his Cinematography showed the scenes in a realistic way. CGI and VFX looked subpar.  With the number of deaths due to swine flu climbing up to four, Interim Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh K Rosaiah held a high level meeting with officials on Monday to review the swine flu situation in the state.
He urged the officials to take the necessary steps in checking swine flu. Not only the passengers coming from abroad but even the local passengers travelling with in the country should be screened, he instructed the authorities.
The interim Chief Minister requested the officials give wide publicity for the Help Line No. 12056. He asked the officials to further strengthen the medical staff and in the testing centres and hospital which are treating swine flu cases.
