Chandrababu gets shock from Amaravathi farmers. Amaravathi farmers have been in the news for quite some time. Farmers of Amaravathi came forward voluntarily to part with their fertile lands to the then Chandrababu Naidu's government for the capital city to be established there. However, their dreams came down shattering when Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power and floated the three capitals idea and spoke about the scam in Amaravathi capital construction.

Changing Fortunes

However, their fortunes changed completely with Chandrababu coming to power once again. He is fasttracking Amaravathi capital construction and he already for the green signal for the railway line for Amaravathi connecting it to all the cities in the country.

Public Resistance

The 57 KM track new railwayline will start from Errupalem, Khammam district to Namburu, Guntur district. Amaravathi station will be the largest station in between the railway line. Railway officials came up with a notification to acquire the lands for the construction of the railway track. They came to get the public opinion at Chilukuru, Damuluru villages in United Krishna districts.

Farmers Demand

But the Revenue and Railways officials got shock when the people demanded similar kind of formula brought in by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu while acquiring the land.

Government's Challenge

The officials are planning to acquire 75 acres land and people are demanding jobs in railways apart from market rate compensation and many more. It has to be seen how the government addresses their issues.
