He asked the TDP leaders to spell out how he was involved and challenged them to prove it. Mr Pardhasaradhi also stated that he was ready to face any punishment, if found guilty.

The Minister also also assured to take action against the culprits and book them if identified.

The issue was that in Mallavalli village, 1,460 acres were grabbed from small farmers some decades ago, the Minister said, adding that the government was ready to take over 500 acres in the interest of 231 small and marginal farmers.

The MROs concerned were told to identify the farmers affected, Mr Pardhasaradhi pointed out.

The government has identified 2500 acres to set up industries after Chief Minister K Rosaiah’s personal survey in the district, he revealed.

Stating that so far three industrialists have come forward to set up their units, Mr Pardhasaradhi revealed that Nuzividu Seeds, industrialist Harishchandra Prasad, and another agro-based industry may come up in the district.
