Pawan Kalyan powerful take on Tirupati Laddu controversy.Tirupati Laddu Controversy Sparks Outrage and Calls for Action.
The revelation that Tirupati laddus, a sacred offering at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, were allegedly made with ghee containing fish oil, pork fat, and beef fat during the YSR Congress Party (YCP) rule has triggered widespread outrage among Hindus worldwide.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has responded to the controversy, expressing deep concern and vowing to take stringent action against those responsible.
In a statement on X, Kalyan said, "We are all deeply disturbed by the findings of animal fat (fish oil, pork fat and beef fat) mixed in Tirupati Balaji Prasad. Many questions need to be answered by the TTD board constituted by the YCP government then."
Kalyan also emphasized the need for a national-level dialogue on the issue. He proposed the establishment of a "Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board" to address concerns regarding temple desecration, land issues, and other religious practices.
"A debate has to happen at a national level by all the policymakers, religious heads, judiciary, citizens, media, and all others in their respective domains," he wrote.
Kalyan's call for action and a national-level board underscores the seriousness of the controversy and its implications for religious sentiment. The allegations have led to widespread criticism of the YCP government and calls for accountability.
This incident highlights the importance of ensuring the integrity and sanctity of religious institutions and practices, and the need for robust mechanisms to address any concerns regarding their misuse or desecration.
