Reacting on the PCC vice-president Indrasena Reddy’s statement that he would not allow Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy to tour in Telangana region, former RTC chairman and senior Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao on Friday wondered what benefit the Telangana leaders would get, by stopping the yatra.
Talking to media persons at the CLP office, he posed a question to Telangana leaders will they allow Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to travel in the Telangana, who opposed to the formation of smaller states as they pose security to the Nation.
Dismissing the baseless allegations made by Nellore MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy against Congress leaders, Mr Prakash Rao stated the people of the state are well aware of his changing stances.
Mr Prakash Rao said the party defector has no moral right to talk about loyal Congress leaders and asked him to stop his malicious campaign.
“The people of the state know his history how he has looted the state. No one can believe his malicious campaign against Congress leaders,” the senior leader stated.
