New Delhi, Sept 5: Andhra Pradesh State Congress party political affairs in-charge Veerappa Moily on Saturday stated that the Congress High Command will take a decision on successor of late Chief Minister YSR only after considering the opinion of Congress Legislature Party.
Talking to media persons on Saturday, he said that there is nothing wrong in proposing late chief minister’s son Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as next Chief Minister.
“He is young and dynamic like his father. If, some leaders of the party propose him as next Chief Minister, I see nothing wrong with their proposal. However, it is PCC and Congress high command who will decide about the successor. I think this is the not the right time to discuss about such things,” he pointed out.
”It will be a decision by consensus, but it must reflect the will of the people," says Veerappa Moily, the Union Law Minister.
He asked the party members to raise the leadership issue only after completion of state mourning.
