Dy CM Pawan Kalyan getting his act together. Pawan Kalyan, in his new role as the Minister for Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development in Andhra Pradesh, has outlined a clear vision that prioritizes both sustainable development and environmental protection.

He has stressed the importance of eco-friendly practices, urging industries to adopt modern technology and green energy to minimize their carbon footprint and contribute to combating global warming.

Focusing on the crucial role of forest conservation, Kalyan stated, "Protecting a single tree benefits millions of human beings, thus protecting forests, which hold millions of trees, is immensely beneficial."  He highlighted the detrimental effects of deforestation, directly linking it to droughts and vowing to take stringent action against those involved in illegal activities such as red sandalwood smuggling.

Furthermore, Kalyan has expressed a commitment to safeguarding coastal areas through the conservation of mangroves. This demonstrates a holistic approach to environmental protection, acknowledging the interconnectedness of various ecosystems.

Turning his attention to the welfare of the people, Kalyan announced that the government will prioritize the distribution of essential commodities through fair price shops, ensuring access to necessities for all ration card holders. The government will also focus on developing religious tourism, aiming to create more employment opportunities in the state.
