Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Wednesday demanded that the government release a White Paper on all the allotments of lands by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation in the wake of allegations of irregularities being made over the deals.
Talking to media persons after on the second day of his Praja Chaitanya Yatra in Srikakulam, the actor-turned-politician alleged that the government has failed &lsquo;totally&rsquo; to curb the irregularities in the APIIC.
Mr Chiranjeevi urged the government to order a probe into the entire issue so that the public knows the facts about the goings on in the APIIC.
Mr Chiranjeevi also cautioned the government to be wary of the people&rsquo;s anger. He said that the people would rise against the government if it did not initiate measures to check dubious deals and stem corruption. The PRP chief also demanded that the government take steps to protect public wealth and properties from encroachers.
The PRP chief also demanded a White Paper on the sanctioning of mining permits to influential people, in violation of environmental laws and established norms.
Without naming anyone, Mr Chiranjeevi said that the government should probe the dubious amassing of wealth by some leaders.
The PRP chief reiterated his party&rsquo;s commitment to fight against corruption and irregularities and warned that it would intensify its agitations over the APIIC, mining permits and hoarding of wealth by some leaders.
Despite attacks on Andhra leaders, Chiranjeevi reiterated that the PRP would launch Praja Chaitanya yatra in Telangana region also. The yatra dates would be announced soon, he stated.
Reacting on the attack of Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu&rsquo;s convoy in Rangareddy district, the PRP leader saw a conspiracy behind the attack and termed it as unwarranted.

The second half continues in the same manner, and the screenplay and narration goes in a smooth and sedate manner.However for all the positives, the director after highlighting the conflict point and establishing it quite well, ends the film in a flat manner, disappointing all.The cinematography of SVK showed the Hyderabad old city vibes in a natural and realistic way. He used the camera angles to perfection and showed the nightlife and also the day hustles quite well and in an effective manner.The background score of Smaran Sai is good and complemented the proceedings, adding value to the narration. He came up with foot-tapping songs highlighting the old city culture and Deccani flavor. The editing of Rohit Penumasta is ok but could have been better, as there are a few drags that slowed the pace of the narration. However, predictability crept in with the passage of time, and the unidimensional screenplay hampered the proceedings. The rushed climax did not add much value to the ending. A little fine-tuning of the script and inclusion of a few more twists and turns would have added more power to the final impact. The first half sails off smoothly with the typical introduction of the protagonist in a commercial mass manner and carries it in the same manner. However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. While one song is emotional, the other two songs are foot-tapping. His background music is in sync with the story. Vinod Bangari's cinematography is quite good. The Ravi , Swetha love track and the father-daughter marriage episodes ends up testing the patience of the viewers.The court drama and the land dispute in the second half is shown in an illogical and silly manner. The point as to why son is hating his father is not shown in an elaborate manner and the father son bonding is not elevated properly except in the climax.A more racy screenplay, more intense and entertaining script would have added value to the narration. Many expected things to change after Vishal who was seen as a honest and innocent medical representive gets trageted. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Vishal and Anjali looked odd on screen and to the irritation of viewers, the pre climax and climax is dragged to the next level leaving people wonder when the film will end. The climax fight looked silly and illogical leaving all shocked. The story is outdated and screenplay and direction didnot inspire any confidence.GV. Prakash Kumar's music offered nothing new. City Police commissioner AK Khan on Wednesday ordered the deployment of additional forces at the state High Court to ward off any untoward incidents even as the lawyers from Telangana continued their boycott of work for the third day.
Police personnel are allowing lawyers and respondents into the Court premises after thorough verification of documents and identity cards.
This has resulting in the protest by the lawyers, who are demanding 42 percent share in recruitment to various posts in the judiciary for Telanganaites, to continue their protests by sitting on the road in front of the High Court premises.
Traffic has been disrupted, leading to grumbling from commuters over the inconvenience.
