City Police Commissioner Ak Khan on Wednesday ordered the deployment of additional forces at the state High Court to ward off any untoward incidents even as the lawyers from Telangana continued their boycott of work for the third day.
Police personnel are allowing lawyers and respondents into the Court premises after thorough verification of documents and identity cards.
This has resulting in the protest by the lawyers, who are demanding 42 percent share in recruitment to various posts in the judiciary for Telanganaites, to continue their protests by sitting on the road in front of the High Court premises.
Traffic has been disrupted, leading to grumbling from commuters over the inconvenience.
