TDP will not take attack on Babu lying down : Teegala

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Monday hinted that the party would not take the attack by TRS on the convoy of former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu lying down. 

Former Hyderabad Mayor Teegala Krishna Reddy told media persons that the party has taken the stone pelting incident very seriously. He said that the Congress and the TRS are two sides of the same coin.

Mr Krishna Reddy said, “If the trend of attacks on TDP men continues, then we are ready to pay back in their own coin.” He added, “the Congress and TRS are competing with each other to vilify the TDP across the state.”

In addition to this, the former Mayor hit out against the TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, saying that TRS president was duping the people of Telangana in the name of separate statehood since the past one decade.

The former Mayor dared the TRS chief to stage such protests before AICC President Sonia Gandhis’ residence, if he had guts.

Charging the state government of deep slumber, Mr Krishna Reddy said that it is time the government wakes up and start acting tough against the vandals who take law in their own hands.

Later, the protesters tried to march up to the Assembly premises, prompting the police to intercept and arrest them.
