Seek CBI probe : Gali to Jagan

Senior Telugu Desam Party leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu on Wednesday challenged Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to ask for a Central Bureau of Investigation into his properties.

Talking to media persons at the TD Legislature Party Office, Mr Muddukrishnama Naidu stated that the Kadapa MP should come voluntarily and seek a CBI probe into his properties on the lines of former APIIC Chairman Ambati Rambabu and TTD former chairman Bhuma Karunakar Reddy to prove his innocence.

He asked Mr Jaganmohan Reddy to come clean on his properties as allegations are leveled against him by many leaders.

Mr Muddukrishnama Naidu questioned as to why the government is not initiating action against former managing director of APIIC BP Acharya against whom corruption charges are leveled.

He alleged that the government is not initiating any action against BP Acharya as government advisor KVP Ramachandra Rao, Information Minister J Geetha Reddy and Panchayati Raj Minister Botsa Satyanarayana have ‘interests’ in the deal.

Mr Muddukrishnama Naidu stated that Chief Minister K Rosaiah is worried that the probe would uncover many skeletons in the cupboard and may also put the government in the dock as many of its important leaders are involved in illegal land deals.

He wondered why AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi is not taking a keen interest in the state where corruption and scandals rule.
