Revanth Reddy Govt turning screws on Tollywood. It appears that the newly elected government in Telangana, led by Revanth Reddy, is tightening its grip on Tollywood.

Recently, Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy went public, stating that, apart from Dil Raju, no Tollywood celebrities reached out to congratulate him.

In a surprising turn of events, reports have emerged that Tollywood celebrities are planning to meet with Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy. Meanwhile, the newly appointed Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police, Srinivas Reddy, directed attention towards the film industry, suggesting a concerning level of drug usage among its members. He asserted, "It has come to our notice that the film industry has the highest drug usage. Many cases were filed in the past, but certain film people are continuing to use drugs. We are warning them of the consequences if they don’t come out of it. Hyderabad should be a clean and drug-free city, and we will go to any extent to make it happen. Once the film industry stops the drug culture, the demand will go down. With no demand, there will be no inflow of drugs. There will be measures to ensure this."

Previously, CM Revanth Reddy also made a strong statement, expressing his commitment to making Telangana a drug-free state. The government's increased focus on the film industry, coupled with warnings regarding drug usage, signals a significant shift in policy and enforcement in the region.
