Narasimhan - Governor or Secret Agent?

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that the Governor’s post is being utilized by the Centre as its information agent.

Mr Naidu told media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan that the Congress party should desist from using the post of Governor as its secret agent as this will spoil the image of democratically elected government.

Reacting on a report appeared in a section of media that Governor has submitted a report to Centre to declare Hyderabad as Centrally Administered Area, Mr Naidu said that he would react only after going through the report or if he gets more details and clarity on the issue.

“I will not comment based on a newspaper report. I will comment only after getting complete information on the issue,” Naidu said.

He demanded that the government declare September 17 as Telangana Liberation Day and officially celebrate it on a grand scale.
