SriKrishna T-Draft coming soon

The five-member Justice B N Srikrishna Committee, appointed by the Centre to look into the Telangana statehood issue, will start drafting its report on Sept 15.

'We shall complete our consultation process by Sept 15 and  begin writing the report so that it can be submitted to the government by the Dec 31 deadline,' Committee chairman Srikrishna said in Mahbubnagar on Friday.

Accompanied by member-secretary V K Duggal and member Abu Saleh Sharif, the retired judge interacted with political leaders and various local groups.

The Committee visited Ketireddipalli village in the district and interacted with people to elicit their views on the separate statehood demand.

The Committee members toured Ranga Reddy and Medak districts on Thursday and interacted with public representatives and people.
