Leveling charges of corruption against Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, senior Telugu Desam party leader, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu urged the government to remove him from the position of Revenue Minister.
The TDP leader also demanded the Government to conduct a probe into the assets owned by Dharmana Pradsada Rao
Muddukrishnam Naidu said Dharmana means justice but what all the minister does is just the other way. Actually his name could be rechristened as ‘Adharmana’ Prasada Rao.
Interacting with the media here on Wednesday, Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that there appears to be no limit to the irregularities being resorted to by the Revenue Minister. Naidu was referring to the allegations that the minister had given away some lands under Puliputti Panchayat in Sitampet mandal of Srikakulam district, to his son.
The former minister said that he had not seen such a more corrupt minister in his political career. He said that the Chief Minister, K. Rosaiah, was not in a position to initiate action against the Revenue Minister for his “Adharma” illegal practices.
He also appealed to the Congress president and UPA chairperson, Ms Sonia Gandhi, and the AICC general secretary, Mr Rahul Gandhi, to order appropriate action against the corrupt Revenue Minister.
