The APWJF delegation submitted a representation to the Minister and explained to her about the functioning of the Press Academy and registered its protest against issue of G.O. No 466 on the nomination of members to the Governing Council of Press Academy.

The Federation also objected to the nomination of  K. Amarnath, who took Rs 85,000 as advance from the Academy for the project work and did not care to account to the Academy since 2008 even as the Academy sent several reminders.

The APWJF demanded that the government revoke G.O. No. 466 and issue a fresh order in its place by amending the constitution of the Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh and provide representation to the APWJF in the Governing Council of Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh immediately.
