Dayakar alleges that Congress threatened Roja’s brothers

Reacting to  the  news about  the Telugu Mahila president Roja’s decision to join the Congress,  TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao  alleged that the Congress leaders in Chittoor  threatened Roja’s brothers with dire consequences. This is one of the reasons  which forced her to join the Congress.  To be very frank  she doesn’t like  to join congress. It is only because of  sheer pressure  she took that  step.

Rs 10 crore for Roja?

As reported earlier Telugu Mahila president R K Roja, who met the Chief Minister on Sunday evening, is learnt to have got an assurance from YSR that the  amount she spent during the elections would be  reimbursed.According to the reliable  sources, Roja hinted  YSR that she had spent not less than  Rs 10 crore from her own purse , during the elections and the TDP did not  meet any of these  expenses.  The Chief Minister, responded to her  generously saying: “It  should not be a problem. You will get back what all you have spent in the elections.” YSR  asked  his  advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao to look into the matter.

In all probability Roja may  join the Congress before Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh arrives in  Tirupati on September 5. This will facilitate her to  take part in the public meeting on Sept 6.
According to a  close aide of Roja, the  actress-turned politician is regretting for not joining the Congress before elections  when the offer was there from the Congress.
