Sreeram Chandra is Indian Idol 5

Atlast our dream has come into reality. After superb performance from Karunya long back in Indian Idol, yet he was a looser because of lack of SMS votes from our Southern region. This time, our regional media has played enough of its role in bringing Sreeram Chandra out as clear winner of Indian Idol 5.

Although few are calling it a close competition; but this was landslide victory for Sreeram Chandra who performed consistently throughout the show winning the praises of legends attending the event.

The other two contestants Rakesh Maini from Agra, the first runner up and Bhoomi Trivedi from Baroda, the second runner up were ofcourse good performers but not on par with Sreeram Chandra at any point of time. Final winner was announced by Big B Amitabh Bachchan after promoting his ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ which is going to come soon in Sony TV.

Bouty of Rs. 50 Lakhs, Tata Winger, Suzuki Bike, one year contract with Sony BMG, a chance to work with Yashraj films were few of the major prizes awarded for the winner. Finally, one more Telugu Tejam proved it on a big stage that ‘We Are the Best.’ Lets say Hats Off to Sreeram!
