Samantha Shares A Cryptic Post On Her Instagram

Samantha recently declared a one-year break from acting. She has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic post, calling the last six months “the hardest”.  She recently wrapped up her upcoming film Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. She is also doing Citadel web series with Varun Dhawan.

Samantha shared a selfie in her stories quoting, “The longest and the hardest six months it has been… Made it to the end.” It is known that she has been battling an auto immune disease myositis which affects her muscles leading to severe pain.

Official word is that Samantha won’t be taking on any new projects for one year as she is all set to leave for USA for the treatment of her autoimmune condition, myositis. If her condition improves earlier than expected, she may return within six months. However, the planned duration of her break is one year. Samantha will depart for the US in the fourth week of August.

Samantha was spotted at Mumbai airport. Pictures and videos of her covering her face with a mask and a cap went viral on social media. Apart from Kushi and Citadel, Samantha also has Hollywood film titled Chennai Story, an adaptation of Timeri N Murari’s best-selling 2004 novel The Arrangements of Love, in the pipeline.
