7:11 story penned by Chaitu Madala is a love story in a rural backdrop with sci-fi elements. Chaitu Madala penned an interesting story by talking about brain data and trying to connect a planet from another galaxy to that of Hamsaladeevi in Andhra Pradesh, India. After the initial interesting start, Chaitu Madala concentrated on a routine love story with a rural backdrop and added another political touch. One feels that the director deviated completely from the initial sci-fi concept. But he correlated it with the sci-fi elements at the end of the first half, getting back on track with the sci-fi concept and the time travel increasing the curiosity levels.
The second half starts interestingly, and curiosity increases as the protagonist experiences shocking developments. But in between a few routine elements slowed the pace of the film. Chaitu Madala penned an interesting story and came up with an interesting screenplay and direction. He connected the dots during the time travel and the past, present and future concepts balancing with the other elements.
The music of Gyaani is good. A couple of songs that are shot are situational and they are in sync with the story. His background music is good and made an impact elevating the scenes to another level. Srinu Thota's editing could have turned the film racier. He left a few unnecessary scenes throughout the film and it impacted the film output. Shankar Varman and Fabio Capodivento's cinematography is decent and they are good in the time travel while explaining the technical aspects. Production values are good.
Altogether 7:11 PM thrills with the sci-fi elements. Chaitu Madala penned an interesting story and impressed with his screenplay and direction. Had he worked on the script and turned it stronger, the impact would have been better. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for 7:11 PM.
