Ramya Raghupathi Serves Legal Notice To AHA To Stop The Streaming

It seems the controversies surrounding biopic of Naresh - Pavitra 's love story Malli Pelli are not over yet. The film which documented the private lives of Naresh and Pavitra has also touched the lives of their previous marriages and partners. Ramya Raghupathi, the third wife of Naresh has also been in news condemning the relationship of Naresh and Pavitra.

It was made into controversy that she directly involved in a verbal attack at a room where Naresh and Pavitra were staying in Bengaluru a while back. Since then their relationship became a hot topic. Naresh made a film titled Malli Pelli with all these incidents and showed his and Pavitra 's side of story.

During its release in theatres, Ramya Raghupathi filed a case in court asking to stall the release of the film. But, it didn't happened. Now again while the film is up for streaming in AHA and Amazon Prime Video, she sends notices to remove the film from OTT platforms.

The notice says Malli Pelli is made so that all factual information has been deviated, misinterpreted, misrepresented and miscommunicated under the pretext of freedom of creative expression. They have used an art form like a film to defame Ramya Raghupathi and demoralise her by creating a concocted version of her character. They have attacked her modesty under the pretext of a movie. This film has infringed on and endangered her right to life and dignity. As we all know, OTT platforms have a higher and more effective reach to audiences worldwide, and the film may damage my client's character, which will be irreparable.
