Rajinikanth remuneration Rs.50 crores

With strong currents of ‘Robot’ striking the Indain Filmy shores, the best we can find out about ‘Robot/Enthiran’ before its release is its budget and starcast. From the last couple of years, Bollywood has been obsessed with figures and headlines discussing about film production prices and exorbitant star remunerations.

Even though we have seen Indiam movie business getting into outrageous acquisitions like Raavan (Rs. 125 crore reportedly) and Kites (Rs. 120 crore), Production budgets have so far remained modest. Here comes mindboggling Rs. 180 crore, which is said to be the budget for the Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai’s ‘Enthiran/Robot’.

1.    Rajini’s remuneration Rs.45 to 50 crores (or a share in the profits coming to the same amount).
2.    Aishwarya Rai’s remuneration Rs.6 crores.
3.    Robot has been shot on hitherto unseen locations that include the world heritage site Machu Picchu (Peru) besides Brazil.
4.    Robot budget is more than double the most expensive movie India has made that is ‘Blue’ with Rs. 75 crores budget.
