Vijay teams with Venkat Prabu. For long rumors spread that Venkat Prabhu who directed by Naga Chaitanya's cop drama Custody would be teaming with Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay. Rumors also spread that Vijay would be paid a whopping Rs 150crs for the project.

In the midst of all this, Thalapathy Vijay's 68th project is confirmed and Venkat Prabhu will be directing it. Vijay shared it with the confirmation video. The video started of in an interesting manner with a newspaper puzzle which was filled with the names of the technicians.

Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music while the producer and production house's name is revealed. Other details will be shared later. Vijay is currently starring in LEO under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The film stars Trisha as the female lead while Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautam Menon, Priya Anand, and Myskynn are playing important roles. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the film which is releasing on 19 October.
