2018 is set for a grand release in Telugu. Malayalam film 2018 created a sensation in Malayalam. According to the latest, the film will be released in Telugu on 26 May 2023. Bunny Vas will be releasing the film in Telugu and the Nizam distribution will be taken care of by Geetha Film Distribution.

2018 is directed by award-winning director Jude Anthany Joseph and is based on the real-life happenings during the 2018 floods and the devastation aftermath in the state of Kerala. The film starred Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, Narain, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Joy Mathew, Sudheesh in important roles.

The film unfolds the lives of people from all walks of life who faced catastrophic consequences and the collective efforts put in by the brave people to survive the calamity.
