Inside talk is Ira Trivedi rejected Madhu Manthena when he proposed to her ten years back. Now they are all set to marry on 9 June 2023. Currently, Ira and Madhu are living together at a cozy bungalow in Pali Hill and when Ira who resides in Delhi is in the city but their house isn't visible as it is located behind another huge structure.

Talking about their bonding, Ira said "Madhu and I have known each other for close to a decade and we feel blessed that we found each other again.” Ira's parents wished their daughter to get married to an industrialist or a realtor and she shared "I met one of them and found him extremely boring. It was then that Madhu and I happened to meet through a common connection in Delhi. Post that, I invited him to a couple of my book launches and he even came to Delhi on a few occasions other than those launches."

Ira said she got hurt when Madhu proposed to her and she said "We were in a sort of relationship," and then hastens to add, "But we were not a couple per se." Alright, but why did she turn him down? "Background differences, cultural differences, he was from Bollywood, I didn't even know what a producer means in the film business."

She added "Things didn’t work out in version 1.0 but we are now in our 2.0 phase. I have changed as a person. I didn’t care anymore about social status and vanity. Credit for this goes to the spiritual path I took.” Madhu and Ira got engaged 18 months earlier during Covid. They were supposed to get married on 8 March but on the same day, Madhu's father who was not well passed away

Madhu says, "My life was in turmoil. Various things happened with my partners in Phantom Films. Many things happened at Kwan. Ira helped me to maintain calmness, she made me a better human being, and feel I became a very sedate and responsible person. I can't imagine what my life would have been if she hadn't come into my life, again."

Ira adds "Madhu has been a very encouraging man. I travel a lot due to my work. There are days when I can't connect with him. He does not flinch an eyebrow."
