Sai Dharam Tej Virupaksha Enter Profit Zone Already

Sai Dharam Teja's comeback vehicle Virupaksha is soaring high at the boxoffice. The film which was released on 21st April has opened with decent expectations but by the evening shows tremendous word of mouth has started spreading and the film picks up rapidly since then. While it has registered Rs 12 Crores gross worldwide on its first day. With terrific mouth talk among the ground level audience, the film has crossed Rs 50 crores gross mark in its 4 days. 

The film is a mystical thriller and makers made it as an out and out horror flick with spine chilling moments. It is very rare to get a quality horror film in Telugu and infact notable heroes won't touch the genre. But, Sai Tej's gutsy decision has paid off. Due to the Star factor the film is getting more reach. The quality content is turning in huge crowds to theatres. 

The film has collected a share of Rs 25+ Crores worldwide from its 4 days. It has already crossed the breakeven figure of Rs 23+ Crs and entered into profit zone. The film has collected Rs 20 crs from Telugu states, 1.5 Crs from Karnataka & ROI and Rs 3.5 Crs share from Overseas. These together made Rs 25 Crs globally in 4 days. As the film is having a great run at the ticket window, it has long way to go. Trade is expecting that the film might collect 40-50 crores share in its full run depending on new releases. 

Virupaksha has Samyuktha Menon as female lead. It also stars Sunil, Soniya Singh, Rajiv Kanakala, Brahmaji, and other prominent actors in pivotal roles. Ajaneesh Loknath's music added the impact to the film. Produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar jointly, Virupaksha is directed by Karthik Dandu.
