Happy Birthday To Visionary Director Nag Ashwin

Nag Ashwin is a two film old director but the impact he created and talent he showcased has earned him nationwide fame. This young filmmaker who was a protege of sensible director Sekhar Kammula has made a promising debut. With his second film he has grabbed attention of everyone towards by directing an epic.

Nag Ashwin 's first film was Yevade Subrahmanyam with Natural Star Nani and introducing Vijay Deverakonda in an important role. The film deals with soul searching has a very fresh point . By selecting such a novel point for his first film itself, Nag Ashwin made a name for himself. No one knows what he is going to make as his second film at that point.

He stunned everyone with his second film Mahanati. When the film was announced, many were skeptical about him handling  the biopic of legendary actress Savitri. But, Nag Ashwin has spellbounded everyone with his depiction of Savitri's life on a massive scale. Mahanati has set a standards and become an example how to make Biopics of yesteryear legends. The film won National award for best regional film. Keerthy Suresh for her terrific performance won Best Actor award. It also won National award for best costumes.

He turned producer with Jathi Ratnalu which is made with budding talent. The comedy caper became a blockbuster reflecting Nag Ashwin's knack of selecting capable scripts. As a director his third film was started with Pan India Superstar Prabhas. The film titled as Project K is being made with a humongous budget. This costliest film on Indian Screen has also has Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. He is busy in sculpting the film which deals with time travelling as a science fiction.
