Veera Simha Reddy damage control: Avoids controversy

The makers of Natasimha Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy seems to have been in the damage control mode. It is known that in order to delight the fans of Balakrishna as Veera Simha Reddy completed 100 days at various centres, they released a poster claiming that Balakrishna scored a century single-handedly.

This sent signals that Balakrishna is taking a virtual dig and insulting Mega Star Chiranjeevi whose Waltair Veerayya released at the same time and it starred Mass Raja Ravi Teja in a powerful cameo. 

This triggered war between Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi and at that time many thought that these were fan made posters and the production house Mythri Movie Makers had no hand in it as both the films are bankrolled by them.

But with the same posters coming out day in and day out, the controversy snowballed. In the midst of all this, the makers released the new poster which is minus the words ' Century with Single Hand '. Finally the makers went into a damage control mode to cool the tempers by slashing Veera Simha Reddy's hand. Surely, the controversy could have been avoided.
