Shruti Haasan shared her views on being misunderstood. Shruti Haasan recently scored hits romancing Mega Star Chiranjeevi in Waltair Veerayya and Natasimha Balakrishna in Veera Simha Reddy. Speaking to scribes, she shared her thoughts on being misunderstood.

Shruti Haasan shared “If people are gonna take everything out of context and blow it up, what is the solution? Should I just, like, not talk? Nice try, not gonna happen. I am still gonna express my opinion. I leave it to the discretion of sensible people to take it for what it is.”

She added  “I have always spoken about my experiences and given my opinion about my life. As much I love the free sharing of opinions on social and mainstream media, it is really hilarious to me that something like this which many artists, including myself, have spoken about before would be so blown out of proportion today. These instances are uncalled for and I’m the kind of a person who jokes around and speaks about relevant matters in a lighter vein and some troublemakers aren’t going to change that. Troublemakers are not going to change my personality.”

She went on to add “This is truly the best phase of my life - I’m so excited about my work, my heart, my life, and the growth I need for myself. I’ve also understood being misunderstood is a constant but so is love and light.”

Shruti Haasan is currently romancing Prabhas in Salaar under the direction of Prashant Neel and is also starring in an international project  The Eye.
