Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya is getting ready for the release of cop action thriller Custody, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is being made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil Languages. Custody is slated to release in May. As the release date is getting near, team is actively participating in promotional activities.

As part of the film’s promotion, Chaitanya met with police constables in Hyderabad and interacted with them about playing a low-grade cop in the upcoming movie.  One constable praised the actor for playing a constable as most heroes prefer playing high-level officers in films.

Chay told him, “I am also very excited about the film. It is a role not explored much in recent times. Constables are fresh out of training and they have the fire in them to make a change. The future is in their hands.”

During the interaction, another constable shared how Naga Chaitanya’s film Tadakha helped him recover from his brain injury. He said, “I like Tadakha very much. In that movie, Sunil is a timid police officer. But, you make him fearless. I like that part very much because one year back I met with a bike accident and had a blood clot in my brain and lost my ability to speak. But after watching that cinema, I was impressed and inspired. I have been able to speak a little bit and run now. Today I am in this stage only because of you.”
