AR Rahman To Compose Music For Ram Charan RC 16

Global Star Ram Charan after earning boundless fame for his role in RRR has announced #RC16. The film will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana who created a sensation with his debut film Uppena. The film's announcement came as a surprise as Buchi Babu's second film with NTR was on cards for a very longtime. Due to unknown reasons, the film was not make to the sets. Then RC 16 was officially announced.

Ram Charan is currently busy with 'Game Changer' in Shankar's Direction. This film is being made as a political thriller. Kiara Advani is playing as female lead while Thaman is composing the music. Initially it was supposed to be Ar Rahman to compose the music for RC 15. But, finally it was Thaman on-boarded for the film. Now, the Oscar winning music composer is said to be confirmed for RC 16. 

This will be the first time that Ar Rahman will be composing music for Ram Charan's Film. Makers are planning to rope in Alia Bhatt as female lead as Ram Charan - Alia's pair in RRR won many praises for their chemistry. Happening heroine Sree Leela 's name is also in consideration as female lead. The film is billed to be a rural sports drama.

The film is said to be go on to the sets from this September. Makers are eyeing to release the film in 2025. Venkata Satish Kilaru will be bank-rolling the project on a huge scale with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are jointly presenting the film.
