Ajay Devgn Maidaan Teaser Review

Ajay Devgn's long pending film Maidaan is finally heading towards its release. The film which was started pre-pandemic has suffered setbacks due to COVID and took many breaks to complete its filming. As the film needs huge football stadium, makers opted for huge sets which were left to ruins due to pandemic and they have to work again to restructure them. Finally the teaser of the film is released today while Ajay Devgn's latest film Bholaa also released in theatres today. It's a Double treat for Ajay Devgn fans.

'Maidaan' is touted as a sports drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football. Ajay will be seen essaying the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football. The story is set during 1952 - 1962 which is considered as the golden era of Indian Football. 

The teaser begins with an introduction to the Indian football team that has been selected for the Olympics for the second time. Within five years of Independence, the Indian Football team got selected for the second time and it was a big deal. The teaser does not give out many details about the match but it shows several montages of the team practicing and playing. In the end, Ajay Devgn says one dialogue that induces patriotism in all players. 

Teaser is fabulous and the making is top-class. AR Rahman's music added more impact to the teaser. It will definitely bring hype for the film. Maidaan is Directed by Badhaai Ho fame Amit Ravindernath Sharma while Boney Kapoor has produced it. Priyamani is playing a key role. The film will hit the screens on 23rd June, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
