First Single Aaganandhe From Ponniyin Selvan 2 Is Out

Mani Ratnam's Magnum Opus Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 is nearing its release date. The makers have kick started the promotions, by releasing the first single from the film. PS1 was Industry Hit in Tamil and performed average in other lnaguages. The huge cast and Mani Ratnam mark drama is well connected to the audience and the second part is mounted on much bigger scale.

The second and final installment of historical drama 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is all set for theatrical release on April 28 and the expectations are soaring high. Makers released The first single today. Yesterday they released the promo and today full song is out in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

The single titled 'Aaganandhe' penned by Ananth Sriram and sung by Shakthisree Gopalan in AR Rahman's music has been released. The romantic is a song featuring Karthi and Trisha playing Vanthiyathevan and Kundavai in the film. The song is a melodious tune in Rahman's style with lyrics syncing love between the leads with nature and the song animation also reflecting the same.

The film is a historic epic drama adapted from the novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. The magnum opus features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan in important roles. Actors namely Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Parthian, Ashwin Kakumanu, and others are also a part of the project. PS 2 is releasing on April 28.
