Deepika Padukone dazzles on the stage of 95th Academy Awards in a gorgeous black gown resembling some old Hollywood glamour. Wearing a stunning black velvet gown that she paired with velvet gloves and a diamond necklace, Deepika oozes out elegance on the global platform. With hair up in a neat bun, the actress also flaunted her new tattoo.

Deepika as a presenter, introduced the Naatu Naatu performance, by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, at the ceremony. Pictures and videos of the actress's moment on stage have been going viral on social media.

Deepika Padukone is the third Indian to attend the Academy Awards as a presenter after Persis Khambatta and Priyanka Chopra. Meanwhile, India has won two Oscars at the 95th edition of the prestigious award. While RRR's Naatu Naatu won the Best Original Song award, The Elephant Whisperers won an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Subject category.

Deepika Padukone is globally known as the face of Louis Vuitton but was still misidentified as Brazilian model Camila Alves, who is married to actor Matthew McConaughey. Deepika Padukone was also the first Indian to unveil the football World Cup trophy before a final last year.
