Karnataka appoints Rajamouli as Poll Icon

Karnataka appoints Rajamouli as a poll icon. Currently, Rajamouli is busy promoting his magnum opus RRR in the US ahead of the Oscars on 12 March 2023. He is leaving no stone unturned to bring glory to India by getting Oscars to the song Naatu Naatu which is competing for the top honors at the awards ceremony.

In the meantime, Rajamouli is bestowed on the mission to increase the poll percentage in Raichur. It is known that Rajamouli is born in Raichur. Raichur district collector  Chandrasekhar Naiak speaking to scribes said that Karnataka Election Commission appointed Rajamouli as the Raichur poll icon.

They feel since Rajamouli has a mass following, if he creates awareness among people to participate in voting, the voting percentage will increase. Rajamouli hails from Amareswar Camp, Manavi Taluk, Raichur. Rajamouli according to sources has given his consent for the appointment.

Rajamouli as the poll icon will come up with videos asking people to come out and participate in the voting actively.
