Sudeep About Playing Negative Role In Kabzaa

Kichcha Sudeep is one of the popular heroes with huge fan following in Sandalwood. But, he never backed out from playing roles with different shades. He played negative role in Ram Gopal Varma's Hindi film Rann starring Amitabh Bachchan and villain in SS Rajamouli's Eega. He also played baddie in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3.

Sudeep’s negative characters have received a lot of applause from the audience in the past. Interestingly, for the first time he is playing a negative role in Kannada, his home industry. The actor recently revealed that he did negative roles for emotional reasons. Speaking to scribes Sudeep talked about playing negative roles.

Sudeep said, “At times I wonder that I played extremes, beaten by a fly in Eega and Salman Khan in Dabangg 3. When people feel your presence will make a difference to the story, you do it to bring happiness. Today is the time of collaborations and just about the hero or villain.”

Kabzaa is slated to release in theatres on March 17, 2023, on the occasion of Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday. The film is releasing in seven languages. Another Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar is also playing a crucial role in this Upendra starrer biggie.
