Khushboo Is Sexually Abused By Her Father

Khushboo Sundar was a top heroine in 90's in Kollywood. She literally ruled as most sought after lead actress at a time. She enjoyed super stardom and had huge fan following. There's an instance where fans even constructed a temple for her in Tamil Nadu. Later she got married to Director C Sundar became mothe rof two kids. This is on the bright side but there is an other side to this too which has struggles, pain and hardships which we didn't know about.

Kushboo opened up about her hard childhood where she grew up with a abusive father who sexually harassed her.

Khushboo is such a person who doesn't hesitate to speak her heart out. She got involved in controversies too because of her straight forward attitude. This actor-turned-politician, who recently  took charge as a member of National Commission for Women, revealed that she was 8 years old when she was sexually and physically abused by her father. She spoke about this in her interview with Journalist Barkha Dutt.

Khushboo said, “I think when a child is abused, it scars the child for life and it’s not about a girl or a boy. My mother has been through the most abusive marriage. A man who probably thought it was his birthright to beat up his wife, beat up his children, sexually abuse his only daughter. When my abuse started I was just 8 years old and I had the courage to speak against him when I was 15.”
