Trivikram Srinivas is hailed as the Wizard of Words for his witty dialogues and spontaneous oneliners. Dialogues in his films are still remembered by movie lovers even after decades. His films and dialogues do wonders at the box office and none can forget his films Athadu, Julaayi, and Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. Ala Vaikunthapuramlo turned out to be a non-Baahubali hit. Trivikram Srinivas is hailed as the top director only next to Rajamouli.
However many are of the opinion that Trivikram's magic has only regional appeal and Wizard of Words is getting confined to local flavor. He is yet to do a pan India entertainer but till now his films that are remade in other languages failed to set the screens on fire. His film Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav which got remade as Vaseekara in Kollywood, if did not appeal to viewers. Athatdu is remade in Hindi as Ek-The Power of One turned out to be a disaster in Bollywood.
His hit film Julaayi and Attarintiki Daaredi got remade in Kollywood as Sagasam and Vanthaan Rajathaan varuven but both failed to set the screens on fire. His Ala Vaikunthapuramlo got remade as Shehzada in Bollywood and it bombed at the box office.
This shows that Trivikram can work wonders with words and weave a web of magic on movie lovers with his dialogues in Telugu. But when his films are remade, the dialogue writers in those respective languages failed to recreate that magic in the remake version. Trivikram's films are routine but he emerges successful in attracting viewers with his dialogues. In the remakes, the other language people are unable to do so. Trivikram is doing his next with Mahesh Babu and he is planning to turn the film into a pan-India entertainer. Trivikram's next with NTR is also touted to be then pan India entertainer. It has to be seen whether Trivikram will set a new trend with pan India entertainers casting a magic spell with his dialogues on movie lovers across the country.
