Pawan Kalyan on fandom turning into votes

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, chief of Jana Sena enjoys a tremendous fan following among all sections of movie lovers in the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He entered politics and riding on his fandom dreamed of ruling the state and doing yeoman service to society. However, all his dreams got crushed when Pawan Kalyan got defeated not in one but two constituencies.

Now participating in a celebrity show, Pawan Kalyan spoke about his fandom and why it is not turning into the vote base.  He said “Fandom is one thing. Converting them into votes is different. One can earn it only with decades of work. Even you (Balakrishna) have earned it (fandom) through the years. It takes three decades of effort. To earn the popularity– that you have in cinema– in politics, you have to put in the same effort and time.”

Pawan Kalyan shared these things while participating in the popular celebrity show Unstoppable hosted by Natasimha Balakrishna.
