Nandamuri Kalyanram Interview

Nandamuri Kalyanram who is known for his knack of selecting unique scripts has a special image among audience. His films irrespective of results generate buzz for different plots. This producer, actor has earned respect from the viewers for his honest and sincere work. His last film Bimbisara became Blockbuster for its unique plot of blending time travel concept with folklore concept. Now again he is coming with an interesting concept of Doppelgangers with 'Amigos'. Linke many times, this time also he has given an opportunity to a debut director, Rajendra Reddy. As the film is getting near for its release, Kalyanram spoke to media and here are some key details form the interaction.

We all have heard that there are seven people in the world who resembles with each other in features. We tried to explore that point in a new dimension in Amigos. We have aptly chose the title Amigos and it perfectly suits the film. I can't agree if the title didn't match the story of the film. Currently I am finishing films which I okayed and started before Bimbisara. No new films have been finalised yet. I underwent retrospective about my failures during COVID time. I don't know much about marketing. I only know about making films and I enjoy the process of building a film from the scratch. Devil which was a period film has been completed 70% of its shoot. I know about Tarakarathna's health what doctors are saying. They are taking best care and I pray that he will be back soon.

Amigos is releasing in theatres worldwide on 10th February. Mythri Movie Makers have produced the film.  Ashika Ranganath is the female lead. Ghibran has composed the music.
