Shruti Haasan rubbishes ill health rumours

Shruti Haasan witnessed two back to back high octane action entertainers in form of Natasimha Balakrishna's  Veera Simha Reddy and Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya during the sankranti season. However, she got disappointed as she fell sick and couldn't attend the pre-release function of Waltair Veerayya.

This triggered rumors that she is suffering from mental problems and they went viral within minutes on social media. Shruti Haasan reacting to the same, rubbished the rumours with the following post. 'Nice try !! And Thankyou I’m recovering well from my viral fever.'

She went on to add 'Ok so here's the thing, misinformation like this and the over dramatisation or flippant handling of such subjects is what makes people afraid to talk about mental health…Guess what? It doesn't work. I will always be a mental health advocate I will always promote taking care of myself in all aspects.
