Kantara Creating History !!

Latest sensation from Sandalwood, Kantara starring Rishab Shetty, written and directed by himself produced by Hombale Films is on the verge of creating history in Kannada films. After KGF 1 & 2, Kantara is emerged as Rs 100 Crore grosser from Kannada film industry. This is a great achievement for a regional film at national level. 

Kantara released in Kannada on September 30 opened with superb reviews. It is based on legend rooted in some parts of rural Karnataka where they worship Panjurli and Guliga gods. Kantara perfectly showcases their culture and beliefs in an effective manner. The film released in all other languages on October 14 and in Telugu on October 15.

Kantara Hindi version collected Rs 1.25 Crores on its first day and with excellent word of mouth it collected almost double in its second day Rs 2.75 Crs taking total nett to Rs 4+ Crores. The film also managed to gross over Rs 5 Crores in Telugu which is a massive figure for a Kannada dubbed film. Allu Aravind's Geetha Films Distribution released the Telugu version. It has entered 100 crore club and become only third Kannada film to do so.
