Kamal Haasan's daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan are extremely beautiful and multifaceted and multi-talented. While Shruti  Haasan already attained star status, Akshara Haasan is aiming for the stars. Akshara Haasan born to Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur made her foray into films turning assistant director to Rahul Dholakia on the 2010 film Society. In the film, she directed her mother Sarika. During that time, she got many offers to star as a heroine but she rejected many of them and they included Maniratnam's Kadali.

She went on to make her debut in Bollywood with Shamitabh sharing screen presence with Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. She later entered Kollywood with Ajith's Vivegam. She is now working as the assistant director for her father Kamal Haasan, and sister Shruti Haasan Saabash Naidu.
