Swathi Muthyam copied BMS strategy

Ganesh Bellamkonda made his big screen debut with the film Swathi Muthyam. The film did not make much noise before the release as the concentration was on other Dussehra releases like The Ghost and Godfather. But the special screening changed things for Swathi Muthyam.

The makers aired a show for the press one day before the release and there was a very good response for the film. The reviews and word of mouth is also decent for this family drama which is filled with comedy related to a delicate issue called surrogacy.

The occupancy of the film has increased today thanks to the positive word of mouth from the audience. Seeing this, the makers have now jumped into a promotional spree and have revealed that their film is carrying 91% ratings on Book My Show.

Looks like they too have followed other films like The Ghost and Godfather who also took the route of promoting their film through Book My Show. Godfather was carrying 94% ratings on Book My Show while The Ghost makers say their film has 90%

Now, Swathi Muthyam has also joined the race and we need to see how much will all this publicity help the film in the days to come. The Dussehra season will last until the 9th of this month and how much will this small film benefit, only time will tell.
