Emergency: Anupam Kher's first look out

Bollywood firebrand Kangana Ranaut is coming with Emergency. The film which marks Kangana's debut is a powerful take on the Emergency imposed by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Already Kangana Ranaut's look and the film's teaser generated immense interest among movie lovers. According to the latest, the makers today released the first look of Anupam Kher.

Anupam Kher is playing the role of renowned political leader Jayaprakash Narayanan who fought against the Emergency and united the entire opposition against Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher sported a serious look in the poster. The film also stars Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla in important roles.

Kangana Ranaut and Renu Pitti are bankrolling the project on  Manikarnika Films banner. Plans are on to release the film in 2023. Kangana's previous entertainer Dhaakad turned out to be a disaster and Kangana is keen to show her power at the box office with this film.
