Oscar-winner insults RRR

Ram Charan, NTR's RRR directed by Rajamouli is winning appreciation from all quarters. The film recently was rated the second-best film by the Hollywood Critics Association. Many Hollywood celebrities and oscar winners heaped praises on RRR. In the midst of all this, the Oscar winner came with a shocker over RRR in an insulting manner. 

It is known that Resul Pookutty won the oscar as the best sound designer for The Slumdog Millionnaire. Resul Pookutty termed RRR as' a "Gay love story " much to the shock of all. His comments triggered angry reactions from netizens. Even Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda took a strong exception and posted "I don't think @RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is "gay love story" a bad thing? How can you justify using this?  Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!"

Resul went into a damage control mode saying "Agree totally. Absolutely nothing wrong even if it was. I merely quoted2 my frnd,d banter that already exists in the public domain &nothing else. There is no stooping factor in this. U don’t have2 to take it seriously Shobu,I didn’t mean any offense2 to any stakeholders.I rest my case here!
